Sisuwings operates as a taxi brokerage platform, connecting passengers with independent, third-party taxi service providers (“Drivers”). We do not own or operate any vehicles, and we are not a transportation service provider. Our platform facilitates the booking and payment process for taxi services through our website and mobile apps.

2. Services Provided

Sisuwings provides a platform that enables users to book rides and connect with independent taxi drivers. Our services include:

Booking: Making taxi ride reservations via the Sisuwings website or App.

Payment Processing: Facilitating payments between users and drivers, including any booking fees.

Customer Support: Providing assistance regarding bookings and customer inquiries.

Sisuwings does not directly operate the vehicles or control the Drivers. The contractual relationship for transportation services is between the passenger and the Driver.

3. User Obligations

As a user of Sisuwings, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.

Be responsible for all charges associated with your bookings, including ride fares and booking fees.

Not use our platform for illegal purposes or in any way that disrupts the services offered by Sisuwings or its partners.

Ensure that you are the authorized cardholder for any payment method used.

4. Account Registration

To book a taxi, you may need to create an account on our website or through the App. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.

Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

6. Booking and Payment Terms

Booking: Once you request a ride through the Sisuwings platform, a confirmation will be sent based on the availability of Drivers. The price of the ride will be displayed at the time of booking, and payment will be processed via the platform.

Payment Processing: Payments for taxi services are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment service provider. Sisuwings offers several payment options, including credit/debit card payments, cash payments, and the option to Travel Now, Pay Later via Klarna.

Card and Payment Information: Sisuwings does not store any payment details, including credit or debit card information, on our platform. All payment information is securely handled by Stripe, and we are not responsible for processing or storing your payment data. Stripe is fully responsible for safeguarding your card details and processing all payment transactions.

VAT: All fares listed on the Sisuwings platform include 14% VAT (Value Added Tax), as required by Finnish tax law.

Driver Payment Options:

Option 1: Drivers can choose to pay a €0.99 fee per ride, which will be deducted for every completed ride.

Option 2: Drivers can opt for a weekly or monthly subscription for a flat fee, providing unlimited access to the platform without per-ride charges.

Refund Policy: Refunds are at the sole discretion of Sisuwings, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sisuwings is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries arising during your use of our platform or the taxi services provided by third-party Drivers. Sisuwings acts only as an intermediary between passengers and Drivers.
In no event shall Sisuwings’ liability exceed the total amount paid by you for the service that gave rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sisuwings, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or any activities that occur through your account.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if we believe that you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us through the contact details provided below.

10. Force Majeure

Sisuwings shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, or any other event of force majeure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
